New Release: Loas EP (Minimal House)
Today, I’m dropping a fresh, minimal house EP. Loas EP is a moody 3 track record dripping with atmosphere, and is available on BandCamp for $2 USD.
The Tracks
Legba is a dark groover with spoken samples of prolific occultist Lon Milo Duquette explaining the connection between the Tree of Life and human consciousness.
Danbala is a sparse track that dives deeper into atmospheric darkness.
Samedi is the deepest of the three, employing tempo-shifting breaks and a steady, undulating sub bass groove.
The Inspiration
If you had been listening to the underground stream on Twitch and YouTube, or the Underground Stream Podcast, you’d know I’ve been especially into the subtle, subdued form of minimal house coming out of eastern Europe. These tracks were born as I was moving in that direction.
I feel that this EP is representative of a significant step in my evolution as a producer. I can hear the personality coming into focus when compared to my earlier work. This, in particular when compared to Under Construction or Untitled EP. My previous release – Spare Change EP, back in February 2024 – is very much a first step in this direction.
I hope you enjoy these tracks and that they find a nice spot in your collection.
Until next time,
AudioMunk
